40 minutes in photoshop. part collage of google images of fremantle port, and part drawing tablet.
Inspired by Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, and a discussion with a friend about robot industrialization, and the Studio Ghibli short before Evangelion 3.33 entitled "Kyoshinhei Tokyo ni Arawaru" (Giant God Warrior Appears in Tokyo)

Several sketches i did on my tablet up to a few weeks ago. Moving the pictures across so that, in case i  loose my tablet, they are preserved.

After watching more Macross and various other mech media, I’m still working on my own designs. this one was a cool idea i found, where the mech has a very large pair of wings mounted on the shoulders that fold up rather like eagle wings, and then transform into a lifting body type airplane, along with stealth design influences.

A robotic drone I designed for my LRR assignment. Not an essential component, but an idea that i quickly painted when i was bored of drawing mountains. they are called Flitters.
An autonomous robotic drone aircraft, they are used by the mega-cities for surveillance  rescue and repair in dangerous climates or areas. Having the ability to take off and land vertically  as well as able to climb virtually any surface, the drones are used most often to survey the surrounding areas of the cities to look for wolves, Find lost citizens who strayed too far out, or to repair parts of the city when human labourers would be inappropriate. They are the equivalent of UAV’s that are used to patrol shark beaches today or tomorrow.
Shown to scale with a human, they are about 1.7m tall when standing

I had this grand idea to make my tumblr a place where i can post all my awesome drawings and stuff as i do them. then i remembered how much i hate it when i try to use a tablet to try and ‘paint’.
Well, sticking to lineart
