thumbnail sketches for a transformers combiner team.
The cybertronian on the left would transform into a european NH90 helicopter, using the rotors to combine into a sniper rifle.
The cybertronian on the right would transform into a V-22 Osprey, the rotor nacelles forming into their forearms giving them melee weapons and the ability to ‘rocket jump’.
they would each transform by bending over, touching their toes, and left would form the head while right would form the legs of the gestalt. this gestalt would then have the alt-mode of an AC-130 Spooky gunship
40 minutes in photoshop. part collage of google images of fremantle port, and part drawing tablet.
Inspired by Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, and a discussion with a friend about robot industrialization, and the Studio Ghibli short before Evangelion 3.33 entitled "Kyoshinhei Tokyo ni Arawaru" (Giant God Warrior Appears in Tokyo)

Some sketches ive done up over the past few weeks. I’m most proud of how the various fighter jets came out, even though they were from reference. After scanning them i fiddled with the hue/saturation a little to make them look a bit nicer.
Battlefield 4 made me aware of many more 5th generation fighter jets that are further into production than i knew. there is the F-22 Raptor which is already well into service. we also have the Sukhoi PAK FA prototype T-50 (which i must say looks fabulous and also, from the front on, rather similar to the ADFX-01 Morgan from Ace Combat). and then the rather boxy but still nice looking Chengdu J-20.
some additional female outfits. two are referenced from images i found on tumblr (the one on the left was merely a picture of socks).
Left would be a generic superhero outfit, center was a direct reference outfit design, and the right is a colour scheme swap of an earlier outfit but in red.
Some more outfits.
Male on the Left is the same as last time just with some shading.
Male on the right is an atempt to design a more practical casual skimpy male outfit. black tights, short jeans and a loose baggy T-shirt with a wide collar.
Female left was an interesting top design whihc i put some form fitting jeans to.
Female right was an attempt to make a Green Orange black colour schemed hoodie, but dafter some experimentation i settle on brown instead as i completed the outfit.
I enjoy quickly painting clothing designs onto silhouettes. haven’t done this in a while.
First is an urban/cyberpunk ish design based loosely on a black green hoodie i own. i wanted to use the baggy clothing, a dull green colour scheme along with some bright green highlights in a way so that while it sitll looks like a hoodie, it seems to have evolved more into a form of street armor.
second one is another drawing of the Star of Light god tier from homestuck fanfiction. didn’t turn out as well as before. possibly due to the style difference,e possibly due to the fact that i accidentally cropped out the end of the hood tail.
and the this is still a bit of a work in progress, more revealing yet cool male adventurer style outfit. about as practical and good looking as most female equivalents often are in video games.
Iron man armor drawings. Had a cool idea for the chestplate of the firdt one (bottom left) and then freestyled for the right one. Turned out kinda cruddy, but quick sketches anyway.
Speed paint of a fighterjet seen in Ironman: rise of technovore. Spent about 10 mins on this, I plan to continue because this was a realy cool design I wish to emulate.
Two characters I drew spontaneously tonight. Largely a result of reading the webcomic Homestuck and its , at times, surrealistic settings and characters. and Also inspired by the album artwork of Lapfox.
I really wanted to do some exaggerated and strong sexy poses. Also I wanted to try and draw some of my more favorite clothing styles of cyberpunk and urban. I just love baggy jeans and baggy hoodies.
I had to briefly edit these on my computer because I haven’t figured out how to change the orientation on my tablet painting app.The colours look much better on my monitor than they did when I was drawing them. much brighter.
Coloured version of Homestuck god tier cosplay, The Star of Light.
