after watching pacific rim I’ve started to design my own Jaeger in 3ds max. Last night, despite it not being complete, i decided to try and rig it and it turned out quite well!
Concept character/creature shapes for a Virtual pet mobile game. The player’s creature begins as a single anthropomorphised cube which can evolve into different shapes through the use of equipment and experience points, each offering different strengths and weaknesses.
3 hours. basic model of a VF-01 Valkyrie Variable Fighter from Macross.
Still unfinished. I was having difficulties with creating a perfect duplicate of the starboard wing, and there are still some obvious clipping issues with the rig itself. But watching this over and over does kinda make my night.
WIP of an alternate timeline Deep Space 9 from Star Trek. An idea where the original DS9 was destroyed and a much larger, more awesome replacement was constructed. drawing the idea and context from the way that Evangelion Anima has introduced new Evangelion designs, so this would be a very over the top amazing thing, with moving parts, a battle mode, and weapons everywhere.

An F-22 Raptor model i’m working on in 3ds Max 2013. Originally crated as a single plane, it was then duplicated and the dorsal side was created. the two were then attached. the symmetry modifier keeps it symmetrical using quite a few reference pictures. Probably going to end up as a low poly model.
rather proud of it so far.
